Neemann & Sons: Adapting, Growing, Thriving

Since we launched in 1981, Neemann & Sons has spent the last 38 years serving, supporting and working alongside our customers. As a family-owned and operated business, we know what it means to trust someone, and we’ve worked hard to build that trust throughout every aspect of our company. With our quality exterior work on roofing, siding, windows and gutters, strong family values and communal Lincoln spirit, we’ve built a customer base almost entirely through word of mouth marketing.

As we’ve grown over the years, our entire business has been built through relationships. Now, we’re excited to move forward with the modern world, and continue to build those same relationships via technology. Neemann & Sons wants to support our customers even further by adapting our business strategies, online presence and marketing techniques to meet the technological environment, while still maintaining our valued culture.

The first step toward adapting: updating our business strategies. If you keep up with our blog, chances are you already know about our recent acquisitions of Sprague Roofing and JL Exteriors. With their family backgrounds and extensive expertise, these companies were great additions to our team here at Neemann & Sons. Not to mention, by adding on new employees, we were able to extend our services to meet customers’ needs even better.

But we didn’t stop there. We know that in an ever-increasing technological world, businesses must adjust their approach to serve clients. So, we developed an entirely new online presence for Neemann & Sons. We started with our brand. It was a simple change with a major impact: We wanted the brand to speak to our customers with a clean, clear and direct approach. We don’t beat around the bush, and our new brand echoes that mentality. Then, we adjusted our website. After all, a website is the new building front for companies. We wanted our website to be user-friendly and easy to find, so customers always know how to get ahold of us online.

Finally, we updated our communication techniques. Hello, social media! This is a big deal, considering Terry just got his first email address last year in 2018. Now he’s reeling if he receives even five emails per day. But we know that in order to meet customers’ needs, we need to be where they are, which is online. So, we got on social media. We created a new logo, and business cards, letterhead and even have a design in the works for a vehicle wrap. We’ve reevaluated our marketing strategies and have brought them into the modern world.

Thanks to our loyal client base, we will always be proud of our word of mouth marketing. But we know there are other families in Lincoln who can use our services, so we want to be available to reach them. Our biggest priority is maintaining the same loyal, hard-working, down-to-earth culture of our family, while upgrading our company to adjust with the technological era. As we adapt, we expect to grow our services, and ultimately create a thriving business that can support the Neemann & Sons customers in every possible way.
